There are numerous countries that come with a travel advisory from Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, most of which would not make even the most intrepid adventurer's list of potential vacation destinations — Burkina Faso, anyone? Most of us don't put "become victim of armed banditry" on our bucket lists. But among those countries that do carry a warning, there are a dozen with a high degree of appeal for tourists, in spite of the potential danger.
