The winners of the second annual Great Places in Canada poll.

Those unsung heroes of urban living, the Canadian Institute of Planners, recently announced the winners of the second annual Great Places in Canada poll. Favourite locations are awarded in two tiers, dubbed "Great Places" and "People's Choice." The former is a combination of public vote via website and expert panel opinion; the latter is strictly by public vote. The chosen spots are recognized in three categories: Great Street, Great Neighbourhood, and Great Public Space. We've included last year's winners, which were not eligible again this year.
